The TF428WNM/U communicating thermostat is designed for 3-speed fan and valve control in fan coil system, including:

• 2-pipe cooling only/heating only/manual changeover
• 4-pipe cooling/heating manual/automatic changeover

• Manual or automatic 3-speed fan control
• Water valve on/off control The TF428WNM/U is available in Modbus RTU protocol and can be easily integrated into building automation system.

• Press to switch on/off thermostat. When in off mode, “OFF” icon will display.
• Press could set the automatical turn off time when the thermostat is working. Press and hold for more than 3s. After timer icon flashes, press  or  to set turn off time, then press 0 button to save and exit.

Installation Tips

TF428WNM/U is designed for standard 75x75x50mm wall mounting box . Install the thermostat about 5 feet (1.5m) above the floor in an area with good air circulation at average temperature.

Do not install in locations where the thermostat can be affected by:

• Dead spots behind doors and in corners
• Not or cold air from ducts
• Sunlight or radiant heat from appliances
• Concealed pipes or chimneys

Wiring and Installation

The screw must be locked tightly to avoid wire break off from the terminal. The wire should not be tangled and stucked between front case assembly and back case.

Request Shielded Twisted Pair(STP) wire for R5485 communication. Separate the low voltage and high voltage wiring. Max 32 pcs in one loop, do not connect to unauthorized devices. Select proper terminal resistor based on application environment.

Application:
T6800 digital thermostats are designed for application of 3-speed fan and valves in 2-pipe fan coil system. Including: 2-pipe cool only/heat only/manual changeover between heat and cool Ventilation mode Manual or automatic 3-speed fan control Water valve control Fan speed can be selected to automatic or manual 3-speed control mode. In ventilation mode, fan only support manual speed control. 

The T6372 and T6373 are designed to control the valve, or the valve and the fan in 2-pipe fan-coil applications. The thermostat operates an on/off valve to provide control at the desired setpoint temperature. The fan can also be controlled from the thermostat. In some cases it is wired to run continuously, and can be switched off with the system ON/OFF switch, while with other models there is a choice of running the fan continuously, or cycling it with the thermostat. Versions are available with a manual 3-speed fan switch, and with a system on-off switch. Heat/cool changeover operation is also possible on some versions. This function can be accomplished either by a manually operated heat/ cool switch on the front of the thermostat or in some versions automatically by the use of a pipe thermostat on the supply water pipe of the fan-coil.

Operation:

Sensing element
The thermostat sensing element comprises two circular, flexible metal plates welded together at the rims and encapsulating a gas/liquid combination whose pressure changes in response to variations in temperature. This dualdiaphragm expands and contracts with ambient temperature changes to operate a snap-acting switch which controls the heating or cooling circuit.

Heat anticipator
It is recommended that the heat anticipator is always connected for both heating and cooling operation. 

Location
The XE70 Series thermostat is the temperature control element in the fan-coil or air-conditioning system, and must be located in a position with good air circulation, on an inside wall about 1.5 m above the floor to sense the average temperature. Do not position the thermostat in draughts, near hot or cold air sources or where it will be affected by radiant heat from the sun or other appliances.

The T6360 is a mains voltage Room Thermostat designed to give automatic temperature control of domestic wet central heating systems. It can be used to directly switch a circulating pump or boiler, or to operate spring return and motor open/motor close zone valves.

The T6360 can switch electrical heating loads up to 10A. The T6360 thermostat can also be used for cooling applications.
